My stay the My Brighton Hotel- Wheelchair Accessible Hotel

Name: My Brighton Hotel

Description:

My Brighton not only offers excellent wheelchair accessible hotel rooms that don’t feel any different to those designed for non-disabled people, but is also situated in close proximity to the historical Brighton Pavillion and it’s Gardens, as well as a range of great venues including Brighton Dome and  Brighton’s Theatre Royal.

Upon entering, marvel in the sense of true tranquillity as you set the mood with the ruby red lighting and escape the bustling streets for a moment of calm and a good night’s sleep.

The My Brighton Hotel in th eNorth Laines Brighton is a white hotel with large rectangluar windows

Just a 20 minute drive or 30 minute bus ride to Stanmer Park, you can immerse yourself in nature with a visit to the South Downs on your doorstep.

Location:

17 Jubilee St, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 1GE

What Three Words:

///mirror.trip.villa

Local area:

Stay in the heart of the city in this romantic getaway. Located just a stones throw from the city's vibrant hub of eclectic restaurants and boutique shops.

Parking:

The My Brighton have a basement car park- you can also add this to your booking when making a reservation. Disabled Parking also available outside the front of the building and on side streets.

Check In:

You can check in from 3pm, and it is a very warm, welcoming space with lots of plants, a fish tank and a conference area.

What Room I had: Details of Bedroom/ Bathroom:

Standard Double Room - Accessible room.

Description:

With its cosy double bed, this designer bedroom has a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, a minibar, air conditioning and stylish sound systems.

Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom in the my brighton hotel features multiple grab bars, toiletries and shower chair..

Probably one of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve stayed in! I slept so well! They had lovely dimmed lighting at My ‘Brighton’ hotel. Interconnecting adjoining rooms for carers and family were also available.

Bathroom:

Incredibly spacious, full length mirror, moveable shower stall. Unfortunately, the emergency cord was tied up.

Room Service/ Food:

I had breakfast the following day, and very much enjoyed the houmous, slow-roasted tomatoes and toasted flatbreads. The food is fresh and very tasty!

Hotel Accessibility or additional features:

A large desk in the room which fit my wheelchair under well.

Cringe or Faff factor:

To go into the Meanwhile cafe you have to go in through the hotel, so if you are just visiting the cafe, this is something to bear in mind. You also sometimes have to move tables and chairs out the way to access the till.

Overall:

A lovely place to stay in the heart of the city.
